Family First is a charitable project that is passionate about supporting families who have children with complex medical needs and disabilities in Kumasi, Ghana.
Medical Sponsorship
Providing financial and emotional support to families with children with complex medical needs and those who require extensive surgerical procedures.
Equipment
Funding and facilitating access to specialist equipment in Ghana.
Sensory Rooms
Creating sensory rooms and training caregivers and teachers to use sensory strategies for children with special needs.
Parent Business Training
Offering business training and grants to families in Sack Gardening, allowing families to have an income, whilst also caring for their children.
School Training
Working with government and private schools in Kumasi to develop an inclusive environment so that children with special needs can access an education alongside their peers.
Family Support Groups
Connecting families in Kumasi in similar circumstances. Parents sharing experiences, advice and support, as well as guest professionals offering advice and knowledge.
